    AVP Pro Beach Volleyball iPhone game coming soon

     

    Kerri Walsh is one of four Olympic gold medalists fans will be able to play as or against on the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball iPhone game.

    An AVP Pro Beach Volleyball iPhone game will soon be released, giving fans the opportunity to play as or against four of beach volleyball’s American Olympic gold medalists. The game, designed by Soarion Studios, is schedule to launch June 1 around the AVP NIVEA Tour Huntington Beach Open presented by Bud Light.

    “The AVP is proud and excited to partner with Soarion Studios and our four Gold Medalists, Misty May, Kerri Walsh, Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser, to produce the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball iPhone game,” said Canyon Ceman, AVP vice president. “This exciting game will make the sport of pro beach volleyball, our AVP Brand, and our elite athletes more current and relevant in the minds of our passionate core fans, and it will bridge the gap to the young and growing gaming generation.”

    Even the players themselves are eager to get their hands on the game.

    “I always wanted to see what it would be like to be Kerri Walsh or Misty May on the court!” Rogers exclaimed. “Now, with the recent agreement between the AVP and Soarion Studios, I will be able to with the new AVP Pro Beach Volleyball iPhone game.”

    “Soarion Studios is thrilled to announce our association with the AVP,” said Judi McGee, Soarion president. “When asked to create a game for the AVP and include four Olympic gold medalists in the sport, it doesn’t get any better than this. We believe the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball iPhone game will promote the AVP and give the fans more of this exciting sport and their favorite players.”

    The game has a planned sales price of $3.99.
